double initiator gets outclassed on a good amount of maps so on maps like lotus or haven we might see zekken on omen again
if double duelist goes out of meta then maybe initiator changes will come along with it.
every team zekken trialed for put him on smokes. so did frod. just because frod realizes he was retarded back then doesnt magically make him better than the coaches who trialled him on smokes. they might have switched him to double duel when the meta solidified anyways
I think what hes tryna say is his reason is more justified
he has aspas so he kind of had a reason to transition zekken to smokes
while sentinels for example if zekken stayed would have narrate as their primary duelist when zekken is a clear better option (narrate is better on scan)
Massive respect for Fr0d who comes from a different era of gaming.
Hard for the current generation of coaches (who most are not players but great VOD reviewers) to understand the difference between being good and being clutch. This is not to say Zekken is not either or both, but to know the nuance between the two and react appropriately requires experience.
