VCT Americas 2026 Stage 1 started with each team playing a single match, and the three Brazilian organizations won each of their matches to end week one ahead of almost every American org. Here are how the matches went for week one of Americas:

Aside from a litany of PC issues across week one, the first week also had only one three-map series. Group Omega kicked off the tournament with KRÜ finally running the roster the team planned for in 2026 after visa issues led to the team running a replacement roster for Kickoff. That roster, led by old LOUD teammates saadhak and Less joining forces, stomped over a retooled Sentinels roster in a confident sweep. Soon after, two top regional teams faced off in MIBR versus G2, and the time away from Santiago worked wonders for the Brazilian team as tex outplayed his former teammates in a close 2-0 victory.

Next up was the all-American matchup of 100T versus EG, with both teams looking to step up regionally and qualify for the second international tournament of the year. Where EG ran two similar solo-Neon compositions, the variety from 100T proved crucial in another sweep. Cryocells was the star of that series, playing both Cypher and Viper while dropping 40 kills in 38 total rounds.

Cryocells converts a buy round with a clean triple kill.

The next game was the sole three-mapper of the week, but it was very entertaining, mainly due to another VCT moment of an assistant coach needing to fill in for a regional match. LOUD had coach Bati fill in, who shot the bodies of ENVY constantly as Darker dropped 75 kills and led LOUD to a potentially crucial victory.

Bati sprays down three on Breeze against ENVY.

The final two matches began with C9 playing against LEV, and it ended as the most one-sided series of the week. Every player on LEV was shooting better than C9, and keeping the composition the same on both Pearl and Haven worked wonders with the Neon Chamber pick. C9 only won 11 rounds across two maps as LEV handily won the series 2-0. Last but not least, two Masters Santiago teams faced off against each other, with FURIA fighting NRG. This series was the alym show, as his Neon was too much for NRG to handle, leading to the current Champions getting swept by the up-and-coming FURIA squad.

With these results, LEV leads Group Alpha with its dominant victory over C9, while 100T leads Group Omega after its confident win over EG. MIBR and LOUD sit just behind LEV, as FURIA and KRÜ shadow 100T in the other group.

Week two for Americas Stage 1 will go as follows:
