they have been averaging 3 wins a year for the last 3 years and they have only started doing well when they have no south asian players (he mentioned earlier about how he doesnt want teams from a region to not have any players representing their region)
on top of that ge isnt that popular among indian fans and ultimately there is a clear focus on both wanting to maximise representation and performance
idk if youre watching this stream but a lot of what he's said about teams he doesn't want in partnership aligns with global quite a lot

The main reason people think GE will be disbanded is because s8ul can bring better viewership than GE, first of all s8ul is an org based solely on pung mobile, they might get more Instagram likes but they are not getting more viewership, they might have 500 more people watching but it doesn't matter. TL valorant fans won't start watching PUBG all of a sudden TL have a pubg roster.
Besides valorant franchising is based on stability and org decisions. GE is literally one of the best orgs in that context.
The Worst thing can happen is thst GE reassignes themselves with sea.
S8ul is a pubg org for unsophisticated indian audiences with their content creator being either washed & retired pros or either girls who are uplifted by simps. They have to literally gamble twice a month to get the peak viewership they promise.

definitely broo.. I am following some of their work since last year they got into EWC. Although their pubg matches reach 400k+ viewers, but they have managed to build a good core fanbase by retaining atleast 25% of them and making them a fan of org.. Although i agree with everyone that their fanbase is cringe but their owners are some smart asses who know how to do business and keep the fanbase engaged.

Many people debate on this because GE has to make a tough choice now, between choosing India or philippines.
That’s a whole different topic, but if Riot selects another organization from South Asia instead of GE, then GE will most likely represent SEA because:
- GE actively scouts players from across different regions and scenes.
- Despite not having the best results in the past year, they are still ahead of most teams in the league and could continue developing new talent.
- There are several other organizations in the South Asian region that can represent SA, while GE can keep building with their current roster and stay competitive in the SEA scene.
No but thats what i mean, going out of SA will make them lose their fans of the org, their current SEA fanbase is fan of them team and not org.
I don’t think they’ll lose their fanbase anytime soon. Since franchising, they’ve genuinely tried to promote South Asian talent, but it’s not that easy SA still needs time to develop. Right now, yeah, support might feel more team-based, but over time people connect with the org as well.
And GE is probably the only org since franchising that has consistently invested in talent across almost every APAC region—PH, Indo, SG, SA, OCE, KR, plus imports from NA and EMEA. Because of that, they’ve built a strong and diverse audience, and people from different regions will continue to support them
