i dont really care much about racism, but at this point its getting fucking annoying. i know this is probably the wrong website to post something like ts but hopefully this can make a difference. for reference - i was playing a ranked game, it was my placement game and it was my duos rankup game and this fucking singaporean racist idiot showed up in our game and started throwing, throwing grabnets on me (was playing deadlock), using walls to block the team at the end of the game, he couldve easily won the game by killing the guy who was on the spike but he just threw his gun and ran at him with his knife. used racist slurs all game and at the end started abusing all of us. i dont really care about racism but theres a limit and if these idiots are throwing the game its just retarded. i reported him but idk if it will work.

Bro, i cant tell you how tough it has been for me, since last 2 years i have been only using Indian side of social media, like only Indian subreddits just to avoid reading racist comments which breaks my heart. I am new to VLR and just got called the R-slur yesterday for calling out a racist. When racism is against blacks people are like "you should be scared", when its against east Asian other people feel sympathetic, but when its against us people just go "who cares?".....

ive noticed an increase in racism specifically against indian people. its sad, every indian person ive ever met has been so kind and genuine to me. it sucks people like that guy exist. so sorry bro

It's always singapore guy bieng racist. may be because I'm play in sg servers. they always think we are indians. what i do is mute and play my game and don't care about lossing that rank game. just think as it was match to practice

• It's all just ONLINE racism and that too only visible to 10% of total Indian population targeted towards the younger, English-speaking, urban Indians on X/Instagram/Reddit so, approx. 85-90% are kinda unaware/unaffected by it (those not on social media, or those in the "WhatsApp/Local" bubble where content is curated by their immediate social circle/domestic algo).
• Only 2.5% of Indians are exposed to any chances of IRL racism since they are living abroad so basically 99% of Indians would never face IRL racism which is a huge issue for other races.
