GenG and EDG have a good legacy because they both were the first team to win an international trophy from their region
FNC 2023 was the best case for a "dynasty" of a team
PRX's win at Toronto was significant because they finally won a trophy after numerous amounts of podium finishes

prx have been good for a long time that them winning Toronto did not came as an surprise aside from impacting the cv's of team players and staff did it really leave a cultural impact on esports ? (this could have different opinions) . Like Ns was struggling in ascension a lot and no one saw them bursting like this into tier 1 and this in turn has brough a new perspective how we see this team of ns . prx on the other hand have always been good for me it was like them winning international was bound to happen sooner or later
like after each team won, did they have any sort of meaningful impact on the esports scene in general when they won
well comment below has some but adding up loud brought aspas and less to the spotlight and solidified both sacy and saadhak as top players on their roles for years to come (saadhak fell off after a while but sacy held up and ended his carrer on a high note)
SEN 2021: First ever international winner, definitely a huge part of their growth in Valorant
GMB: They defined the art of lurking, slow and calculated valorant and was the first european team to lift a trophy. nAts’ viper and cypher setups were revolutionary at the time
ACEND: First ever champs winner + cNed defined himself as one of the best OPers, self-explanatory but not much asides from that
OPTIC: Second NA team to lift a trophy, they were THE chamber team
FPX: First ever team to do a complete lower bracket run and had the hardest road of any tournament winner by far even now. Amazing win for the European region
LOUD: First champs trophy for Brazil and the Americas region as a whole, definitely legacy defining as they truly represented the South America region
FNC Lock/in: 3-11, nothing more to be said
FNC Tokyo: Dynasty, domination, first ever team to go back to back which will always be part of history
EG: From making playoffs thanks to MIBR’s assistant coach, to winning it all in Champs is THE miracle run anyone could have asked for. One of the most insane moments of all time
SEN 2024: The return of TenZ and Sentinels as an organization to the top
GENG: First ever trophy for Pacific, and the entirety of Asia. Definitely legacy defining
EDG: Chinas first ever trophy and being a Champions one at that. It definitely sparked the interest of upcoming chinese players and teams to strive for more
T1: One of the best finals of all time and underdog run
PRX: The uncrowned kings finally arriving at their destination after trying again and again and again.
NRG: S0m’s last dance, Ethan’s second champs trophy
NS: First ever ascension and premier team to lift a VCT trophy
closest motion we got was EG winning Champs in LA into Demon1 winning the Esports Breakthrough Player of the Year.
