Chronicle and nAts were good back then but are we really rating d3ffo, redgar, and Sheydos?
vs Meteor, Stax, Izu, sylvan, and Buzz.
I don't think Sylvan or Stax played well in that tourney, but I'd say the overall quality player on the Autumn roster was better for the time than the ENGH one

sylvan peaked in bangkok and had very good smokes util usage, stax also had a good tournament
Lol why are we acting like Sheydos was bad? There were several moments where it could easily be argued that Sheydos > Chronicle, particularly in 2022
autumn had more carries on his team not defending engh but meteor izu buzz you could genuinely sub him in on recon and that team could still have a trophy he was FULLY carried by meteor izu buzz from the insights we got from there team dynamics
meteor genuinely said he used timeouts to tell them to shoot there guns i would genuinely say engh is better solely because he 100% get less investment from KC vs T1 and objectively has a worse talent pool T1 is the best KR org ever so have there pick of the best KR talent while KC is a bottom EU org
Feels like ENGH is doing too much. The ideas aren't working obviously and the talent pool/money available isn't as good, but genuinely it looks like the team should keep it simpler or play more normal/comfort stuff esp with new IGL

Autumn felt like he had everything at his disposal and is using timeouts to tell people to shoot back. Feels like he wasn't ever doing enough.
Except Engh genuinely has had access to pretty good player talents, his tactics/gameplans/comps are the reason KC has been failing in 2025 and now seemingly again in 2026. Like marteen left the team and instantly became one of if not the best player in the world, Elite has been tearing it up in tier 2 ever since he got kicked from the team, all we need now is for Saadhak to cook for 2025 KC's failures to definitively be down to the coaching.
KC never look like they're prepped. Half the time the players don't even look comfortable on the agents they are playing (Avez Phoenix especially comes to mind). There never seems to be any good adaptations after tac time outs and overall most of KC's rounds are down to hero plays from their objectively talented players (in Kickoff you had Suygetsu winning rounds by himself, today it was mostly Lewn and especially dos9 on the first map).
Btw I'm not saying that KC are a super team that should be winning every game but this roster should honestly comfortably make playoffs and realistically be challenging to qualify for internationals, not be fighting for 9th-12th which is looking more likely right now tbh.
Stax meteor izu sylvan and buzz is a bad roster? Bro they are all currently better than gambit currently if you go player by player, only nats ans chronicle are arguably better than T1 but the rest are all T1 rejects
even then i think there is a argument to be made right now since all 3 play senti and meteor is insane enough to be compared to those too or even be prefered i think most senti's these days should be the 2nd duel players not flex generally would rather my 2nd awper be senti cause u can pull it out on vyse for example and chamber veto for sure
Autumn has at least a somewhat recent international trophy, engh got a trophy in the plumbers era with a cracked Russian team that probably any coach could win a trophy with.
Might be a hot take but these weird coaching decisions are not an excuse to lose at a regional level. G2 and TH have equally questionable comp choices and are still good enough to win matches even at an international level but also can dominate regionally
This especially applies to EMEA which is probably the worst region after China and it’s pretty easy to qualify out of EMEA

he played better in worthless group matches vs "loud" "eg" and "c9" when it came to playoffs/internationals, n4 was worse than zekken
Johnqt was sen's best player last year. N4rrate also mostly farmed in regional group games (not even in playoffs and definitely not in international games).
