I mean pistols do help a lot with snowballing in this game especially for a solid team like PRX. I'm not claiming everything is down to just the pistols but I think it's making their edge over the competition look bigger than it actually is in reality.

11/14 at the event so far and not a single map where they didn't at least get one out of two. Wonder if that has made them look a bit higher level than they actually are. I still think they're the best team in the world right now just maybe not as clear as it looked at points earlier during this event?

Chinese teams can't ever win with some people lmao, if they do win games people will just call it flukes or easy matchups every time guaranteed anyways.

I think they did well and I hope the whole "cHiNa sHoULd lOsE sLoTS!!!" stuff will die down a bit now since I don't want to see anyone argue that teams like 100T/EF/T1 would've done better at this event than what XLG and EDG were able to do

nah I deliberately ignored it

him underperforming in EWC qualifiers honestly just makes him more of an ethical player xD

I mean Onur has been hella fraudulent in the past and Kingg is a great shooter but let's not start acting like he's one of the best callers in the world either. LEV have an insane amount of firepower packed on one team + we are generally speaking in a meta that is not that complicated in which set strats and contact plays can get you very far.

He has not had a rating below 1.10 in any series since Kick Off and he's not had a rating below 1.00 in any series in tier 1, this is actually an insane streak of consistently great performances by him.

I mean in hindsight all of FS except for Primmie should've been bottom 10

As an IGL obviously yes since he wasn't IGLing yet in 23 but for personal performance Champs 23 has the slight edge for me. He was so good as a setup player for Demon1 in 23 with ridiculous apr numbers (and not any of those fraudulent smoke assists either mind you).

Maybe change it to this:

  • Flash Initiator/Controller: Ethan (IGL) (Champs 23 individual form + Champs 25 IGLing form)

aspas said no too

If we're speaking all time peaks:

  • Duelist: Demon1 (champs 23 form)
  • Scan Initiator: C0M (champs 23 form)
  • Flash Initiator/Controller: Ethan (IGL + champs 23 form)
  • Controller/2nd Duelist: Jawgemo (Masters Bangkok form)
  • Sentinel Perma Chamber: yay (champs 22 form)

Pretty sure this is what M8 needs to do to avoid 4th seed. It's looking rough for Marteen & friendsđź’€

Johnqt was sen's best player last year. N4rrate also mostly farmed in regional group games (not even in playoffs and definitely not in international games).

Except Engh genuinely has had access to pretty good player talents, his tactics/gameplans/comps are the reason KC has been failing in 2025 and now seemingly again in 2026. Like marteen left the team and instantly became one of if not the best player in the world, Elite has been tearing it up in tier 2 ever since he got kicked from the team, all we need now is for Saadhak to cook for 2025 KC's failures to definitively be down to the coaching.

KC never look like they're prepped. Half the time the players don't even look comfortable on the agents they are playing (Avez Phoenix especially comes to mind). There never seems to be any good adaptations after tac time outs and overall most of KC's rounds are down to hero plays from their objectively talented players (in Kickoff you had Suygetsu winning rounds by himself, today it was mostly Lewn and especially dos9 on the first map).

Btw I'm not saying that KC are a super team that should be winning every game but this roster should honestly comfortably make playoffs and realistically be challenging to qualify for internationals, not be fighting for 9th-12th which is looking more likely right now tbh.

Where did this "marteen was bad in 2025" narrative come from? I watched all his games last year, he was on fire during Stage 1 and was decent the rest of the year. If he was "awful" in 2025 then 90% of players haven't had a good season in their entire career lmao. Especially considering he was on a highly disfunctional KC team with Engh refusing to put him on Yoru half the time when Yoru was the most meta he has ever been.
