It's in the rules of GC. They have the right to play. They shouldn't be getting any hatred towards them.
YFP X dropped their roster a day after they picked them up because there were accusations against some of their players that they were faking being nonbinary to play in gc. i do not know all the facts of the situation but thats the general gist of it, there is no actual proof provided by the people who have accused them.

personally i've seen accusations against 3 of them (korupt, charod, glowstick), each with no proof provided

you have to be verified by anykey in order to compete in GC. they have a vetting and identification process
didnt really answer the question. and the answer is yes. you just need to be outwardly proclaiming that youre NB on social media for at least 2 years. All the doctors note stuff or gender identity on ID doesn't really apply to NB since any medical procedure is not needed

It’s the rules of the league, I just think it is unfair to a system that should support women. But it’s the rules, so I can’t argue based on that facet. I respect and love all people, but, I can’t ignore biological advantage in sports in general.

Surely if we are truly sure that someone in the scene is disingenuous in their identity, we have actual compelling evidence that can be shared through official channels so that these people can’t just rebrand? I’m sure that a few people have done these things you allege and it sucks, but the beauty of GC is that a few shitty noobs larping cannot defeat the purpose of the program.

On top of all that, there are numerous reasons that trans people might be struggling to get official documents or healthcare (like the highkey g*nocide) and gating their access to this environment in the most critical years of their careers effectively defeats the purpose for them.
I'm very happy she tweeted about it, the verification system currently in place alienates so many people, myself included, and as a trans woman, I did NOT like that I was forced to come out to my right wing parents to MAYBE verify in time to play fucking GC. If there is proof, i agree there should be a system already in place for such a thing to correctly identify and ban bad actors. But as of now, as long as you were playing in GC before 2026, you're let in without any questions, so any previous bad actors weren't even CHECKED.
I just have to ask... why? I never had any intention of coming out, but verification forces my hand if i want healthcare or a legal document, JUST so i can verify MAYBE if my parents/guardians let me. BUTTTT, if I were to play four months ago, none of that even goes checked. Is that not CRAZY? There's no way we saw that causing any issues?
