i Understand Emea is bad at Valorant, but the Way BBL plays looks worse than ranked
cause they were good in emea, but ig this proves that americas is the better region
idk
Because a team full of rookie's first experience on international stage is against NRG?
I think its propably bcs teams usually dont have an answer to a completely new teams cause they dont know how they play and it gives them that tiny bit of an edge u pair it with having a good day and they are 1st seed but i dont think they are realistically even close to being the best in emea
I get what you mean but it's funny to phrase it like that when NRG won Champs last year with 3/5 of them being rookies having their first experience on an international stage
Except, NRG didnt go straight into playoffs and had to play groups first so they had a lot of games to heat up + their first game was against EDG (who was looking shit)
I'd argue going straight to playoffs is bad for teams that have 0 international experience. This WHOLE BBL roster is full of rookies, NRG had 2 vets that could guide them
they didnt look like bbl rn, even on breeze their worst map it was just prx hitting insane shots, while nrg is picking them apart nd they r making lots of mistakes
ik but i said that cause theres people who says like pacific is better and shi like that
diggah die spielen gegen nrg die einfach unfassbar stark spielen + die sind erst vor paar monaten emea aufgestiegen und sind jetzt international stage chill
lass die erstmal auf stage ankommen dann werden die sehr viel besser spielen
Rookie teams do better regionally than at lan I really don't get how so many people are shocked by this
I expected all the first seeds to do badly since most of them are rookies with no experience, and starting straight in playoffs is rough. But Nongshim surprised me yesterday.
Nongshim are rookies but far less so than the other teams because they've been in tier 1 for so long and rb is a veteran the other rookie teams don't really have any equivalent
they lucked into beating m8 in the upper final and somehow got 1st seed despite being like the 5th best emea team
the truth is that NRG is the hardest matchup vs them, as much as i don’t like them they should be fine against any other team
a team full of inexperienced rookies and a chaotic play style vs world champions roster with elite anti-strat
they are so inexperienced and they are playing a very experienced team who just won champs. Its very hard to play at the top of ur game with all the stress and nerves.
They can cook later on. Rookies don't start off like that in kickoff (i.e KC and TH)
None of the 1st seeds has won yet, think they all need some time to ramp up since the teams coming from swiss are already warmed up.
