It's a moderately hot take since double dive is probably more fun to play for the pros and more fun to watch for the fans. You get more dynamic and intense bits of play.
I believe that ANGE1, NAVI's coach, mentioned that the double duelist meta is pretty annoying since Yoru is basically the best info-gatherer and he is not even an initiator. The initiator and sentinel classes feel a little wonky at the moment with Breach having a woeful pick rate and being so annoying to play, Skye being a niche pick with only 2 flashes, Gekko being buffed a tiny bit with the reusable molly and the rest being main picks like Sova and Fade or secondary picks like KAYO and Tejo.
Harbor's recent buffs will make him really popular in the next stage as teams will have lots of time to practice him in comps. We might even see instances of solo Harbor effectively used in maps as Elevated displayed in a video that Harbor's smoke coverage is pretty great if you can keep on top of timings and positioning.
Sentinels like Cypher are only used by pros who favour this type of lurking agent. Veto is not being used as best as he could be. Chamber picks will hopefully continue to go up. Deadlock is probably going to be stuck in pickrate hell since her solo sentinel utility is not that great on most maps and she often works best with Vyse.
TL;DR: The meta is definitely narrowed down and hopefully some comps will change, but we can expect that Yoru will still be heavily favoured over most flash initiators. Praying for Breach rework that makes his stuns actually do something valuable.

Looking back its really crazy how little yoru was played until 2025 when he was amazing for years before that
agreed there. most pro teams just never caught on but im glad its played a lot now
always reminds me of that SEN vs 100t LCQ series on bind where they both locked yoru. everyone freaked out lol
