JonahP shouldn't come back

Before you come at me with pitchforks, JonahP leaving isn't the problem with G2, its Jawgemo. BabyBay has been doing amazing things for the team, while that fraud only does good 1 in every 5 games. Just get a new young star duelist because at this point even Icy would be doing better than Jawg. I still love my king JonahP though and I think if he stays as a potential 6th man he will be the best 6th man in the world. Also get Leaf off Breach
Side note. Why did we sign a LOL coach as the performance coach?

it is part of the problem, yes.
jawgemo doesn’t have support anymore, and jonah used to sacrifice himself for the team and enable a lot of plays for jawg

the great thinker joshrt took the best sentinel in the region out of his role and put him on support, when his best traits were his positioning and his aim.

babybay on the team wasn’t the right choice, g2 didn’t need another guy who shoots kinda average, they needed a support player who could shoot better than jonahp and still bring vibes, aka seven.

jawgemo is playing bad? yes, but he’s not the only problem on g2.

yea jonahp was probably the worst the 2025 year id say but the bad part was how he got dropped & the timing

also i dont think it matters who is the performance coach as long as they know like basic psychology

The main problem is nobody is there to setup up Jawg nor Trade him instantly that why even you are a stats Steven you don’t see the how decently he is doing in his role

jaw spends half his time being thrown at the wolves on waylay to sell a fake or take a bit of space. Usually without much util setting him up just run in throw slow and come back. the way g2 play has never favoured an entry duelist popping off. sayaplayer, tex, icy, jaw, maybe even leaf for a game or two idk. nobody has been able to pop off consistently for this team on entry role it's just not the way they play. they get the value from jaw that they need.

not to mention when they went to champs jaw locked in. they forced a top 3 americas raze onto perma yoru for a whole year and then act surprised when his raze isnt up to par anymore. idk man it's just weird to me but overall hes playing the role(s) they ask of him exactly as they want - he just isnt being set up for success both in terms of strategy and direct util setup without jonahp

the thing is yes its true jawg is not able to replicate the performance he was giving before but its partly because G2 kicked JonahP look at the vods , jawg is not being setup like he was used to. i dont think its a jawg problem i think its a team identity problem
