Why do they keep raising the fundraiser target
from 8k to 40k (idk how much it costs for funeral expenses solely but pretty sure 40k is on the very higher end of it)
also if you say that the excess is donated to charity
i think that is disingenuous
cause what even is excess
earlier donors would have thought that excess of 8k
now donors would think excess of 40k
and people are donating for oxy (especially when the new donors see that the target is not completed) not for some other charity cause then it's just better to donate to your local NGO
also how does Jack Etienne end up donating less than Tarik

(moral police don't come at me this is a genuine question)

yeah, it seems weird, the organizer needs to be questioned, not that he is scamming or anything, just give the people the answers, esp when its as sensitive as this, but the problem is, people don't like to question about sensitive topic, even if they notice

i dont think its automatic because there were charity streams being done, also if it was automatic they should have proactively stopped it once the original 8000 were raised, just because people are donating doesn't mean you keep on taking under the guise of donating to the cancer center as most would not have donated if it weren't for oxy

yeah but, why would they keep increasing it, people might think it costs that just for the service, they should atleast put out an update that the service is covered and they are now raising for the cancer hospital, because it doesn't say explicitly anywhere, just says the excess will got the cancer hospital.

people just want clarity, not opposing it or anything.
