the owner of a comp is the team that finds the most success using it
that statement makes no sense you cant credit an idea to someone who didn't have the idea in the first place
there was probably a comp game featuring a yoru and waylay before those jdg scrims though, but that team in the comp game doesnt own the comp

And yet JDG sucked at it while DRX innovated it and made it actually work. Also just about every comp you see a team use is made by another team, especially tier 2 teams, tier 1 teams just take them and usually make them better.
nobody is arguing jdg is better than drx the point is termi didn't even come up with the idea that got them a top 3. and the issue your talking about really stems from the broadcast talent needing to do a better job at studying the game and educating the viewers.

I don't think it's fair to put it that way，it's more accurate to say it was just mutual exchange between scrims. Gen.G’s Breeze in 2024 was actually copied from FPX.
Termi's value addition might not have been inventing the comp but it was to figure out how to best play it. Even if JDG created it, termi & drx were the ones who mastered it.
It's like we all know RKO because of Randy Orton, but the cutter move was created by a different wrestler called Diamond Dallas Page, Randy just mastered it and made it popular.
