why not? Asuna is much more of a pure rifler than Operator player, so he doesn't NEED to be on Jett.
Imagine him and cryocells running around in double duelist / jett/skye/kayo/raze/reyna comps.

true, but you have to take in consideration that zekken started as second duelista/flex since he joined, Asuna has always been the Duelist and maybe he just lacks that intelligence or whatever to flex.
Also, if asuna start flexing, Ethan would have to play either Sentinel or controller and changing roles that much was the reason not to get Cryo:

Though, it's all hypothetical and probably will never happen. But I think it could have worked as Ethan has played Smokes before early one when he moved over.
Yeah Ethan was great when he played smokes for them, also running asuna on jett is strait up a waste of asuna as a player. Why would you want to run him on jett, where he is at best top 5 NA when you could run him secondary duelest where he just strait up is number 1 NA. It's actually kind of wild that the asuna jett has lasted as long as it has is he serviceable for a top team, yes. Is he an absolutely cracked top jett player, not really.
no one knows, I would say the majority think that the best team atm is c9
XSET is definitely in the running for it tho.
