prx said that leakers almost ruined the deal so how is it possible as im pretty sure the sheep esports leaks stuff after the contract gets signed?
prx said that leakers almost ruined the deal so how is it possible as im pretty sure the sheep esports leaks stuff after the contract gets signed?
but why would the deal be in jeopardy? like this shit isn’t a song being leaked here lmfao
Other teams who might have wanted invy would have known he was free and tried to snatch him offering higher offers maybe.
i mean bro invy was never "free" lol paper rex still had to pay for him. the real leaks only happened after everything was agreed i promise you
prx mgmt is self exposing themselves as a bunch of man babies, theyre crying about journalism. probably secret upped the price after the leak and theyre mad they didnt get a top 10 apac player for cheap
how is it possible that TS aren’t aware their star player still under contract is set to sign with the biggest team in apac until someone has to leak it
I think its cus other teams didnt know about this deal going on and when it was leaked other teams tried to snatch invy.
but bro i feel like these other teams would already be trying to snatch invy anyways?
i thoughts its already transparent enough, the reason they got patmen is because invy buyout was high af and now they got the money they could afford him
uh oh PAPER REX has to deal with leakers just like everyone else. Bunch of crybabies
Usually orgs are against leaks because Public perception effects the deal even if it is in the Final stages, not alot of things change but players understand how those deals would impact their brand first hand due to these leaks before they actually go through with all the confirmations.
I mean it is journalism and i think it is good that players are able to understand how the audience is gonna take the changes unofficially, just sucks if they deal falls through after backlash from the community, which is what i suspect happened in this case.
But PRX shouldn't cry about it, was gonna happen in any case, just a matter of time, and officially or unofficially
Just to broadly speak, The issue with this is it adds pressure and provides leverage to respective parties (agencies or orgs) to control options. You see this in trad sports ALL the time where agents or front offices leak moves to see how the field reacts, since it provides them leverage. You need to understand that first before understanding how this can cause issues.
Its one thing if a party already reached a verbal/signed and reports come out, theres no real "damage" there. its completely different when no terms or verbal was agreed to yet, which is what happened here when it was initially reported/leaked. It wasnt about "keeping it secret". Teams knew. Its the reaction when negotiations loose leverage which can have an adverse effect on both the player and/or org in terms of getting where they might want to be.
That also doesnt mention about letting orgs handle their send offs properly without having to pilot PR with moves (fnc dealt with that eariler this year)
TS had all the leverage though and kept stalling a deal, feels like no leaks for someone like invy who wants out a month before vct starts would only hurt his case no?
Wasnt a TS related issue is all ill prob comment on. But the bigger focus is more the gen point i made that leaks/reports that dont have firm verbal or signed agreement is vastly different then ones that do. There was a world because of that, where yes we dont sign invy and it inherently could have hurt him
idk cus it's not crazy to say PRX would've had a higher chance walking at least until next split if no leaks came out given how late this is all happening
a lot of moves get leaked early nowadays, how high do u think the percentage of this gets leaked by agents and agencies? its getting out of hand a bit lately...
FIRST OF ALL, Ivy is on Nongshim Read Force, He did not get signed by Paper Rex.
