Edg got cooked in yoru meta and double duelist meta didn't help kk much in entries...can they ever make comeback after new patch? Or they where just flukes ,used neon meta...yoru isn't for kk,and they fallen in regionals..no hate,just asking to ball knowers

Then how's he gonna be no1 duelist? He can't play neon/Jett on every map... duelist should be flexible with their agents...he's good with Waylay but never seen doing combos as he played solo duelist...which was a drawback in double duelist meta
When did I ever say he's no1 duelist, also Yoru is inherently more of an initiator rather than the typical duelist. Aspas is widely considered the goat (and his most recent performance still provides evidence for that) yet he can't play yoru at all, does that make him not a contender for no1 duelist?
As an example, Chovy is considered probably the best player in the world (at least in the lane) in League - does that mean he can play literally every character to the same standard? Well the answer is no
Also you say he can't play neon/jett every map, but thats basically how T1 valorant won a masters by literally refusing to adapt to the meta and just shifting the team around what was most comfortable for the players and brought out their strengths. Also kk can play jett, raze, neon, waylay, chamber all very well - just needs the coach to actually cook up strats around it

I hate this perspective of the game tbh. You don't have to flex to be a good player. Does it help? Yes. Does it make you better overall? yes. If you are eggster should you try to flex? Hell no. Kangkang was the neon and jett goat at one point. He can also play raze. He is incredibly good at it and has won a championship doing that. He can flex if it works but he absolutely does not need to. It lowers his value as a player since he's a player you need to build rosters around to win and if he's not feeling it you just cannot win but it's absolutely a valid strat.
There are many ways to play this game. Building a style is perfectly fine. Not everyone needs to have insanely flexible rosters that can adapt to every single meta. It's fine to find your own way of playing the game.
What's so hard new meta? Just learn how to play yoru...and bro had enough time to learn it...
yeah the avg fan i dont think understands how much the meta and map pool determines who are the best teams in the world especially in years (like last year) where this changes multiple times during the year. and ngl it kinda sucks when every tournament winner is a big underdog like this year
Id imagine its slightly higher than the games avg so maybe like gold 3 or something like that? (Assuming you arent counting people that dont play the game)

He's gonna play - chamber/Reyna and if it's double duelist comp then it must be neon/raze...but Waylay is just very productive (cb yoru+ kk Waylay)
they performed well the following tournament and only fell off because of internal issues

Somewhat I agree..I'll blame 70% on coach n staff and other on team performance (kk yoru,chichoo downfall)

U r talking about recent matches,muggle wanted him to play yoru in yoru meta...he played neon most of the time during champs 2024 (neon meta)
No I'm not, what I'm saying is he has a lot more hours on other agents than neon. Neon is one of his less comforfable (and still great) agents. I've been watching this dude for 4 years, neon was recommended by the coach (and also the meta at the time). Saying he's a neon one-trick makes no sense
