More that Apple products in general are overpriced. And when you use their devices you are pretty much forced into their ecosystem. So if you don't mind overpaying and are fine being stuck in the ecosystem its fine, but by doing that you limit your options. At least I prefer to have freedom over closed system. And its not really about flexing money wise, but many buy iPhones because they are completely clueless and just follow what's popular. Some claims I've heard from iPhone users is crazy and shows that most of them don't know anything about tech in general and just think Apple = Good, Android = Bad.

ive had both and only thing i missed after going back to android after 5 years of ios was the gesture navigation systems but like always you can modify your android to do that too.
sideloading apps is just too good, having all apps like twitter, youtube, spotify, even tiktok just revanced to have 0 ads and with all premium options enabled and shit ton of more custom ones added is something i cant imagine not having. + i like having apps like mihon/tachiyomi/stremio for manga and movies which are banned from apple stores.

Android. IOS has its benefits like Apple ecosystem is overall good, but you are kind of forced into it and I think that is big negative. Overall ecosystems that are closed are almost always bad for consumer or at least have the possibility to be. I don't do anything crazy with my phone, but I still don't want to be locked into ecosystem and rather have possibility of freedom. Its about principles.

I been using IOS for ages I just prefer it for ease of use as well as security otherwise there's good phones on both ends. I have no preference. But I also don't just buy every new phone that comes out I buy a second hand phone in excellent condition every 2 years. I should be upgrading from my 13 pro max soon though
