You can't overlook 25 tho because even tho it was his lowest placement he dropped the highest champs rating oat

Like skill wise, mechanics, a player like aspas only gets better so current aspas is technically better than aspas in 2024

All current players > the old players skill wise btw

2024 aspas is the highest consistant peak in valorant history

i dont really know how to word it well but put it like this: 2024 aspas with that skill level in the year 2025 would perform worse than 2025 aspas in the year 2025. as years pass after a game's release, its only natural that everyone gets better as the players mature. 2024 aspas was just more developed than other players during that time frame. mechanically, current aspas is better as he is able to thrive in competition where the players are actually better

True, but the overall ranking of 25 was hurt by toronto

LEV aspas was so tuff
https://www.vlr.gg/stats/?event_group_id=61&region=all&min_rounds=200&min_rating=1550&agent=all&map_id=all&timespan=all

Leo (1.19) #2 was closer to #10 (zekken, Less, Jemkin 1.13) than he was to aspas #1 (1.26)

one averages a 1.15-1.20 rating as probably the biggest baiter in VCT, the other averages a 1.30-1.40 as an opener....LMAO actually

I don't think you can compare metrics from different games 1:1, also calling aspas the biggest baiter in vct is dumb

2022 was so overrated, he was arguably the worst on the team at Champs

2023 in last place is insane. he was a top 5 player in the world that year.

hes been a top 3 every year besides 2022, I don;t see a player being better than him in post franchising besides d1 who was a half season wonder

he was among the top 3 in 2022, i remember the debate in brasil was who was better him or yay, of course if you look at the champions stats you might think otherwise, but stats arent everything and even if they were his numbers for the rest of the year make up for it

I think sacy was better than him in 2022 (comparable individually at Reykjavik, better at champs), I think arguably shao and yay were also better than him 2022

If u put him so high in 24/23/25 because of his individual play despite not winning then you can’t put him high in 22 because he won a trophy
It was individually his worst year, though he still played well

23 (not his best stats year but his impact was insane + he did have insane stats)
24 (statspas)
25/22 (better peak in 25 but better overall in 22)
