ok so if I think something's easy but others think it's hard then like what do I do?

cuz like for example
"That test was easy"
"well maybe for you" and then they get mad and storm off

like what did I do wrong

thank you all!

It can come across as arrogant but I have never really had this issue tbh but maybe it's a culture diff

maybe say smth like "easier than i thought" rather than just easy, if they say " it was still hard tho" u can still say easier than u thought cuz it might have been

creatively stating the truth, making u a true aes sedai (reference not important to the statement if anyone doesnt get said reference)

yeah this peak and the best way to handle it but generally be closer to negative about any exam statements unless teacher is super liked

also true, even just changing it to “not as hard” instead of “easier” would help with this

general tip always say something negative but simple at the start like "the questions where a headache to read " or " the time was too short" about the test to a classmate and then slowly say it how it is like "(section) was good/easy" "the written part was obvious" etc

but that person is overreacting or maybe they flunked it and they were pissed of you didn't say anything wrong tbh i say "test was easy" alot and i haven't seen people mind disagree maybe

i dont agree with the person above me, i think you should be honest
phrasing “that test was easy” as “i found that test easy” already changes the meaning, while still being true, to perhaps lower the chance of triggering someone who is (presumably) insecure about their result

I think the best thing you can do is phrase it in a way that's more positive/optimistic and doesn't have a chance of making the other person feel bad about themselves. I'd personally say something like "I did better than I thought I would" (technically true, because you thought the test would be harder, but it comes off as an innocent/harmless statement because you're not outright hinting that the test was easy or anything)

It was easy to you , props good job for being prepared or just having talent idk if you cant say that with somebody getting upset just go next if somebody cant be happy you succeed than just DNI its not worth the trouble . If you wish to interact with them keep it cordial dont overshare anything that might ruffle feathers or seems touchy
