we cant do anything, the fuck is ur point, i think the people who are saying too many korean teams said it to people who wanted a korean team to replace talon
I don't think any team deserves the talon's slot expect for the talon roster. Some sea orgs should just buy the whole talon roster
Apparently The argument is that Korea should get the talon slot too which I too think shouldn't happen. 5 slot for kr is already enough in apac.
If it's another Korean org then there is a big chance we don't see any of the players like thyy or primmie or kilua who made top 3 in apac in stage 2 play next year in tier 1. So I think some Thai org should get the slot that can just field the same talon roster as this year.
Couple of years down we might get PAC, Korea, Na & Sa as separate regions, at least I think that’s a possibility
If you following League's LCP, you will know a rule that if a sub-region which has most teams, non-partner team of them who is lowest each other must be competed in promotion, to prevent imbalance and polarization between stronger and weaker sub-regions. That made Vietnam's MVKE played in promotion althought they end upper than Japan's DFM in the season.
You want to replace Talon or other SEA with a Korean team. OK, that make you happy. But the consequence is that you will lose the Thai market and further increase the suspicion of Korean favoritism. In the long run, if VCT becomes too skewed toward Korea with an excessive number of Korean teams, no one in SEA will want to participate in VCT anymore. Pacific will end up repeating the same downfall that League’s PCS went through: starting in 2020 with a 6/4 TWHK–SEA team ratio, and by its final year 2024 before merging into the LCP, the ratio had become 10/0, along with growing indifference from viewers in SEA countries.
there are 5 korean teams but only 1 make it to lan is not all good teams No it should be atleast 2 and T1 and DRX both came through points while prx and rrq came in through top2
No glaze but all korean teams are mid during champs except DRX

I see lot of people correcting grammar in vlr forum when they clearly understand is so weirdly waste of effort....like supporting Korean teams when all vct pacific is having lot of Korean teams.
i think riot have no choice but to bring BOOM back. It's literally the same scenario as KOI & M8 except BOOM have showed they can actually be somewhat competitive in the league. cry all u want about not having SEA teams but they just arent as good as Korean teams it'd be horrible for the league.
riot hopefully chooses boom or someone else cause if not they might as well name it VCT korea after fucking over T2 SEA for a entire year which also was the worst year for T2 investment wise and now they take a ENTIRE SEA team just dropped the rest of them at that point
Korea as much as they have MAX talent like turkey(less so) they don't have enough talent to have 5 top teams in the league we saw that this year the max is 3 gen.g T1 DRX now especially with autumn dropped NS was mid SLT will be better but middle table team for sure unless the meta is exactly what they were playing in ascension
there are that many cause riot invested in them the MOST T1 apac is in korea and pretty sure they were tied or had the most teams even at the start of vct that fact alone is enough and its kinda stupid if they kept investing in them by adding more teams they would be losing money c
they should be the majority but it should be 4 at most so riot can have people to sell valorant skins to cause KR is a small country all things considered since there is always two mid KR teams and 1-2 KR teams in top 3 and 0-1 who have spontaneously fallen off either of termi,autumn side effects
ok but realistically what u gonna do
1st option : Split Pacific and Asia in 2031, at some point it has to happen, and that would allow some market to finally have their T1 team (Oceania, Vietnam, potentially MENA, East-CIS, Mongolia)
2nd option : Definitive suppression of Ascension, and replacement with a "path to master" / "path to champion" every T2 split, allowing us to control the exact number of team in each region (I still think that should have been the case for next master with a 16 team bracket 10 partner, 2 ascention, 4 T2 team winner of a "T2 kickoff")
