Which team has the most delusional fanbase? It has to be 100T right? Every single year they convince themselves that their mediocre roster has a chance of doing something and every year they ends up being a complete and utter disappointment

I’m not mad and this is not just about you. The amount of glaze for this mediocre 100T roster in these past few days has been very interesting to see. 100T fans are indeed a very unique group of individuals compared to the people in other fanbases
My bad the team doesnt have zekken and aspas but if thats whats required to have an s tier roster there's like 2 or 3 itw

Ok I’ll stop the Asuna hate for now. He may very well be a special and unique player compared to the likes of aspas and kaajak. But you’re right, that doesn’t make him bad. He is an amazing teammate and he has a very unique and special style of play. I think the fact that he brings something different and unusual to the table compared to other players may be one of the key reasons why 100T may succeed this year, however unlikely that is
Their win was as fluke as PRX Toronto win

You should definitely wait and see before judging. However, most people in the community believe that past performance is a predictor for future performance. It's definitely not which I believe is your point.
But when you have a small pool of qualified applicants because the system itself is a closed system, how do you find new talent? As a GM, your job is on the line and when you have a family that depends on you, you certainly are going to be risk averse.
It's not an easily solved problem.
I think we have to wait and see.
The entire structure of 100Thieves has been torn down. They will need to completely rebuild and that is going to take time. They've got plenty of time between now and the new season to get setup. A couple of matches should show us the potential of the structure they've put together. From a fans perspective, I would give it a month to make a determination.
The only downside to the entire process will be that the Valorant community I think puts too much stock into certain ideas and those ideas bleed into coaching in VCT. I hope they focus on the strengths of the players and ignore the coaches' prior experiences when determining how they will run the team for the next season.
100t got the most delusion for sure. its not even "Gawd Im juwst trwing to hawve fuwn" anymore.
