JonahP is an extremely experienced support player, his fragging power isnt really high but the support and experience he brings is phenomenal , he is a great flex player that allows G2 to play a ton of different comps like he can play sentinels like vyse and sage, he can also play initiators like breach, skye , fade and he can also play controller like viper, this potentially allowing G2 next year to play double senti, double controller viper, double controller viper+ senti, double initiator , whatever way the meta leans into , G2 is just one step away from winning a trophy and that step is to put leaf onto the second duelist and play double duelist stuff cause thats the only thing they arent running and double duelist is very favored to be meta next year as well and when u look at it the other way, the way u go about replacing someone like jonahp isnt to bring another support player but potentially a way better firepower upgrade cause clearly there isnt a similar flex player to replace him, and there arent many players available that can flex around that much and provide that much of a firepower upgrade, and when u just solely focus on a firepower upgrade and forget abt flex your comps get kinda one sided next year

yay did play neon and yoru but didnt win on bleed but his individual performance was good on those agents just his team threw so many rounds

jonahP being a supportive player is what made G2 as good as they are in the first place, they thrived in the tejo meta became of his support util etc etc

Maybe just maybe part of the reason the rest of JonahP's team looks so good and coordinated is because he understands how support better than 99% of players. He has flexibility in controller, initiator, and sentinel roles and firepower/form is relatively easier to train than player instincts and macro-strategy. I could see an argument for the first part of the season benching him on maps where you want a contact Sentinel and double duelist, adding a 6th man like Seven, Demon1, or another Duelist/contact senti player. Dropping him would be idiotic and give me serious doubts in the leadership of this team.
