JDG and BLG in 2023 had already begun writing their own demise by not winning the World Championship. BLG not winning in 2024 has deepened this trajectory, and the future will only get worse. Moreover, there are many other indescribable factors, regarding the Chinese community, the players' attitudes, and so on and so forth.
yeah some chinese players always seem to have some sort of scandal or controversy going on. i remember that was partly why i didn't really care for the lpl teams.
i remember bo and milkyway were supposed to be next up but ended up obliterating their careers because they weren't professional.
but faker winning worlds 23 soloing the entire lpl and 24 beating the best cn team of all time definitely had a huge impact then, no?

Also lpl death was gonna arrive even if t1 didn't win worlds. The talent pool was already dying since like 2021. The interest in esports started declining after mobile gaming boom and government rules for games.

t1 keeps shitting on them at worlds and their top teams are gradually declining in level, korea keeps pulling further ahead every year it feels like
Major reason is talent pool being dead and then they haven't won anything for 2 years now.
