they now have multiple good team that is not fnatic anymore, and yes the north american orgs hmmm
idk about them, like I think because recent scandal at tier 2 NA like match fixing + miss managed (dont have pay, no tourney) really hurt NA talent development
more about Pacific region split into 2 is having 2 problem
- East Asia (KR,JP,OCE) dont have talent pool deep enough to warrant dedicated region for that, it would be korean dominating like pre franchise
- Riot dont have infrastructure to support south apac region, like there is no infrastructure because current riot arena is because its used for both league + valorant, so its cheaper cost overall
but riot dont have presence in south apac in general
singapore is prime location for south apac infrastructure but the cost would be massive, they can use indonesia or thailand for cheaper location
but these 2 country dont have strong enough population + economic interest
