What is the maximum ping where that doesnt impact negatively your game ?
What is the maximum ping you would consider good for a scrim ?

for me anything past 40 is unplayable. I get 85 with exitlag + ethernet to London which is alr for what it is but it's still mad annoying
nah mate I don't live in pakistan, I'm back in the Middle east atm. Was in the UK so I play with friends from there sometimes. I get 3-7ms to my home server so it's klm
beyond 100 game becomes super frustrating, i play around 60 ping so dk about low pings but whenever there is a ping fluctuation and it reaches 90 game starts confusing me
i only queue ranked around 20-30ms on paris, london or frankfurt servers but i queue deathmatches and swiftplays on anything up to 50ms
I play on 90 ping consistently and I’ve stockholm syndromed myself into believing that its not bad (ping doesnt matter ngl)
above 30-40 ms u feel very little delay compared to like 10-20 ms but its still playable
80+ ms u can start rubberbanding very rarely and 110+ ms some of your shots dont register and its the maximum ping id personally play with
probably lower for pro players like around 70-80
What I call unplayable is unstable ping, it is the worse. I rather play on constant 100 ms than 20ms that jumps to 80ms every single second it is actually unplayable, because you can't get used to it, since it is constantly randomly changing.
I play cross region 220 ping. Still winnable in silver lobbies but you almost forget how to aim when you get back to normal ping
I play HK , SG and PH servers from india and get 30- 50ms on sg , 60-85 ms on HK and 80-100 ms on PH . I dont q mumbai unless I'm in a party .
In NA I played on all servers I got 20 ms on Cali , 30 ms on Oregon , 65 ms on Texas , 85ms illinois , 95ms on georgia , 90 ms miami and 110 on virginia .
I have played both on NA and Asia servers .
IDK why for some reason (maybe its just me) playing on 100 ms apac > 100ms on america idk likeshit feels smoother .
ive only ever played 10-30 and 100-130 ping
the latter is so bad that I got diffed by delighted in the first half of a game yesterday
I played a lot on NA server with 80-90 to 140 ping.
And for me 80-90 is literally unplayable compared to 120.
80-90 you cannot hold angles properly, and you dont have that much peek advantage, shit sucks.
Anything above 45 sucks for valorant and around 70 - 90 you get stuck into a shit ping cuz you only have downsides compared to 110+ or people w less than 20
Either you choose less than 45 ping or higher than 110 ping, anything between this sucks a lot.
I regularly play on 90 ms haven't noticed anything strange myself except holding angles is tough. I have also played on 170 ms in Frankfurt and hit plat it wasn't as bad so anything above 200 is unplayable imo
if u spent a month playing 20 ms then tried going back to 90 ms it would feel way worse
ur jus used to 90 ms
Yes, I've played 20 ms, and right after, 80ms, there is a noticeable difference, you can't really angle hold on higher pings
im fine with even like 120 ping as long as its stable, because the moment it starts spiking up an down after that the game feels like a shitshow
I usually play with 80-98ms ping on Mumbai server on wired connection, and the worst part is fluctuation so midnight is the best time for less fluctuation and stable network connection prob gives me (79-84)ms
Usually 50 is when I can feel a real difference, then after 120ish it becomes pretty bad but you could technically still play. As long as you aren’t stuttering you can play pretty well up to 120 if say
I’ve played on ~19, 30, 60, 90, and 130 ping before
130 was unplayable
Everything else was fine, but I am shocked how much better 19 felt compared to 30.
