It feels like teams are just throwing away great players atp for no reason, liquid let keiko go after he was one of their best players and one of the best players in emea overall, sen is letting go of zekken and johnqt both of which were probably the most pivotal to their success in 2024/2025, geng is either baiting us or potentially might let go some of kr vals best talent, mibr is throwing away cortez who was an amazing rookie who looked really promising even after a role swap, furia let their one good player go (heat) and is just throwing atp, kru sure is getting saadhak and less but they also threw away some of latams best talent for a chance, idefk what kc is even doing anymore

idk it just feels like teams are gambling with new rosters and shit instead of actually keeping their consistently good talent and developing a proper team core, like the only "superteam" that actually worked was fnc 2023, and thats bc they built it slowly and didnt just sign and kick players constantly.

maybe im just complaining too much but id personally much rather see good teams develop slowly and there be fierce competition to see who is the best of the best instead of just everyone building superteams constantly and then when they fail kick half the roster

orgs aren't "letting go" of players its just this year a bunch of good players have their contracts expire and a lot of them seem to be more focused on winning compared to financial gain (zekken is a good example of this)

your individual cases of americas teams + geng are too generalized and don't really go into the specific for each

yeah but I feel like teams need to actually put money into investing for their good players and giving them contracts they cant say no to, idk I feel like if I was a team like liquid and keikos contract was expiring id make it a priority to spend a good chunk of money just to keep him on

brother liquid arent the only rich org, every org can give him a sizable offer specially NRG who just won champs and are prolly investing more into valorant

he isnt a RFA and liquid wasnt winning it was obv he was gonna consider other offers

Liquid can't enslave Keiko bro, his contract is over there's nothing they can do other than offering more money if he wants to leave and as mentioned above Liquid aren't the only rich org + would you pass over a champs winning roster.

I mean you saw SEN this year it's clear they are on a downwards trajectory, Zekken wants to win all pro do and that's why they compete.}

Idk about the behind the scenes of what happened with Cortezia so I cannot comment but as for KRU, yes they are shuffling players around but that's natural since their current system isn't working. I would've preferred they kept Keznit duelist, kept Shyy but we can't fault them for changing stuff especially when their replacements are comparable (Shyy --> Less) if not outright better.

I want liquid to enslave trexx and keiko (ethically)
