In defense of India it's like 1% maybe for whole PC gaming not even competitive or fps games like val. And also eSports culture isn't the same in India as it is in korea. Esports is still a very niche thing in most countries in the world and India is a developing country.
yes it is true though, even if india is a developing country so is china, china is considered a developing country too but the main problem is not the country's developmental status, its the citizens, SEA is a developing region except singapore- still their people show a high level interest in competing in esports even if they have less population than india as a whole
Yeah as I said esports culture is just not the same. Not even as good as it's in sea or china since it's a niche thing. Only esports scene flourishing in India was or is mobile gaming esports like pubgm and freefire but those both died cause of game bans for being related to china. Internal Pubgm esports is still popular cause of org rivalry but internationally they are ass cause of the 2 year game ban gap.
