I think he is mid and had one fluke run with TH. His mechanics are bad for a non igl.

He does help in midrounding plus his experience is good plus he does frag alright when he's on his role
Idk fragging "alright" in this age is fine. I mean you have people like Riens/Trent who outdoes patitek in all aspects maybe except mid rounding (Idk if riens or trent do mid rounding). If a team is actually looking for winning an international they should seriously consider having all their non igl players to be heavy fraggers.
why are you comparing him with Riens/trent when they are two different roles?
I dont think there were much players who played flash initiators this year. I didnt know who to compare him with but my point is, his firepower is pretty low compared to someone like riens/trent who can switch to flash initiators and still frag heavy
Pati isnt an initiator player tho, he is a flex. You would compare him to Jonah/wo0t
He is JonahP with slightly worse utility/agent pool, but same level of fragging.
compared to wo0t, his mechanics are way worse than wo0t but his utility, agent pool and midrounding are way way ahead of him, but thats because wo0t is probably a better duelist than flex
Just checked out his agents played recently and it was mainly Kay/o, skye, fade and omen. His agent pool is not better than wO0t for sure. w0Ot literally has played all 4 roles in the game. Same with JonahP ho also played everything except duelist.
And he was forced on Omen because nAts is simply a better Viper/Sentinel. I dont think he would continue playing controllers except Viper. So ya riens and trent both play initiators and Viper
okay but 1. wo0t doesnt play those roles well and 2. when they played on the same roster, there was a reason why pati was the flex and not wo0t.
Flexes are meant to play around what their teammates can play + what their coaches want to play, it isnt patis fault that his team wants him to play those agents, and it doesnt mean that he cannot play the other agents.
This is why flexes are really hard to compare 1:1
When they played together Pati was the flex not because he is the superior flex player but rather w0Ot had no option but to play duelist as they had no other duelist player back then. Realistically if some team is choosing between patitek and w0Ot for flex, majority would go for w0Ot.
Ya i understand flexes are hard to compare and Im not saying he cant play an agent. Im just saying his mechanics are bad for a non igl
sorry what????????
Firstly, just because he's been playing mainly flash initiators doesn't suddenly mean he's an initiator player, he's a flex that was playing what TL wanted that doesn't reflect he's full agent pool. wo0t playing all 4 roles doesn't mean he has a better agent pool when wo0t has literally shown himself to struggle the find same value on those agents than his comfort picks.
Secondly, patitek isn't forced on omen because nAts is better viper/sentinel he has plays omen when we want to run double duelist with keiko and kamo. Also Patitek most played agent is literally omen so idk what you mean when you say he wouldn't continue playing controllers
Ya now that i thought a bit more about his team dynamics he is more of a flex player. MB. I was just habituated seeing him play initiator/viper so I didnt think much about it.
decent flex player but not good enough for a team aiming to qual to every international and challenge for trophies
Exactly you'd ideally want someone like riens/trent even though they mainly play initiator. Patitek is simply not it for me
he thrived on viper but then got put on a team with nats so its just fucked
you say this but he qualified for every international he played for in the last 2 years, and got to a grand final in one of those
good player but he was being put on flash ini almost the whole year so hes bound to do shite with this fuckass meta
Util wise pretty good but his firepower needs to improve drastically for him to stay in Tier 1
not gonna take patitek "isnt an internationally good player" considering hes qualified to all international events hes been in t1 for
Very good team player. Very flexible, also always getting assists, trades and makes good decisions. It's getting worse when he's anchoring/ flanking/ lurking or dueling unforunetely.
