seems like it was his choice to leave but he's still going to compete. he says it's because in 2024 he had a lot of mental health struggles and being in the same environment for this year it doesn't feel like it has improved so he wants a change.
a bit of a theory but maybe he thought he was the issue on the team so he decided to leave on his own
I'm guessing it was banter and he deleted it so he doesn't fuel drama (but it was too late anyway)
he replied under a tweet mentioning that he's being replaced with "@neil ?" iirc
