Who is the best duelist rn

For me its mada not even recency bias based off of the current duelist pool he rn is the only guy who can play jett , yoru , raze , neon and waylay at a high level . Sure he is not the best at any of them but like when u think abt it he is top 3 on waylay , top 5 yoru , top 10 raze , top 10 neon , top 10 jett on these agents atleast if we look at every other duelist player rn they have some weakness in their agent pool

1)Aspas - Cant play yoru
2)Jawgemo - Can play all but due to G2's playstyle it wont reflext as much
3)Zekken - Can't play waylay , mid at yoru , improving at jett
4)Hyunmin - Very inconsistent yoru good at its peak
5)Jingg only can play raze
6)Something - only can play jett and yoru
7)Forsaken - Can play all but due to team roles cant
8)Derke - Havent seen the waylay + mid neon'
9)iZu - Too small sample size on waylay and in that game also he didn't do to well
10)kaajak - Trash Neon
11)Buzz - good at jett , raze , neon and yoru when he is on but ya he tilts more now so...
12)Ara - We haven't seen is waylay + mid yoru

I am not going to all the top team's duelists but u get the point why I think he is the best duelist rn even tho he doesnt have the peaks of these guys on those agents he can consistently do well on all duelists

so I checked out all his games kaajak either has very good games on neon or very terrible games on neon there is not baseline consistency with mada there is a baseline consistency

mada doesnt even deserve to be top 10 on this list. he just individually is not a stand out player.

he def didnt have a massive role for nrgs success and most of nrg are not talented individually but they just won champs mostly due to ethan igling, bonkars coaching and a lot of momentum

Meta for duelists is quite fun now when there's not only Jett or Raze that matters and duelist players need to learn a bigger agent pool to be significant.

exactly like managing a 1.05kd on all agents itself is good enough rn especially for a guy like mada who already has a good base on all 5 he can build on it even more and become crazy dont forget how insane he can be when turned on

He's not even the best duelist in americas. Jawgemo, Zekken, Aspas are all better. Sure, he's good on every duelist, but his peak is nowhere near these other players. He's forsure top 10, but we've yet to see him really put up performances the same way others have. I'll admit he's consistent though, haven't seen him really struggle often.

imo though, zekken jawg, aspas, KK, kaajak, hyunmin, something are all duelists i'd take over him. If he continues being this good at his role, and NRG is successful next year, he for sure moves up the list though.

bro I agree in terms of peak all these others guys have higher peaks than mada but like his consistency on all agents is like nobody rn and lets not forget at his peak he is also very insane games like there was a point in the year where mada had to drop 60+ kills across the series for nrg to have a chance in winning

yes he did but did he play yoru one time no thats his hole in the agent pool like thaats my arguement for mada being the best duelist rn he is consistent , he plays all duelists at a high level and has potential to grow more and already has show insane peaks so he is the best rn

Consistent? Have u watched the grand finals? Mada wasn't even the best player as Brawk, Skuba and Ethan was top fragging for NRG and winning clutchs for them. Every agent he plays Aspas can play and do better, except for Yoru.

exactly thats the point for mada being the best rn he is very good at all agents and can go toe to toe with the best without really struggling yes he did have a bad performance on jett , yoru and to some extent neon at the end but guess what u can find other games in this exact tourney where he had insane games on those exact agents yes aspas has better peaks but yoru rn is the most important duelist in the meta and will be in the comming years unless riot try to kill it imo its one of the few agents which is unkillable .

artzin plays yoru for mibr so we dont even know how good aspas is on yoru. also if he can make jett or raze work then theres no need for mibr to adhere to the yoru meta.

if there is a guy that is by far the best jett in the world, has a top 5 raze in the world, is the best waylay in the world and can play a top 5 neon in the world i dont really care if he cant play yoru, he just had double the rating in champions of the second highest, the difference between aspas and riens, the top 1 and 2 is bigger than the difference between riens and skuba (10)

It's Aspas and Mada isn't even close. Don't care if he can play Yoru and Aspas not, he's not better mechanically and his peak is way far from Aspas.

his peaks are from what he has shown are insane he needs to work on the floor like if he can elevate his floor by atleast 10% he will be up there and uk finds his way to be at his best he will be top 3 all the time

I mean if you’re talking a consistently high baseline for every duelist, Jawgemo is probably better than Mada.
