will he leave?
if so which team do you think so, i'm thinking either TL or NAVI
Get away from boaster
He’s probably only got a year left of his career, shouldn’t waste it
this bum ass take bro said a year left of hi career. treating valorant like nba player. bro still can play 5yrs buddy
Derke himself said he wanted to play with less and he told Fnatic he wants to leave.
I think boaster mentioned that on his stream, or maybe derke did. Can't find the link rn
i think it was more FNC clearly needed a change, and even though Derke was insane that year, he was probably the most replaceable in the team at that time. Kaajak was frying in T2, and FNC needed a change. plus Team Vitality were looking for a duelist, and both Sayf & Derke wanted to play with each other, so it just made sense.
If i was FNC i would have replaced Alfajer for a more disciplined and consistent sentinel. Suygetsu got dropped at that time. He would have been the perfect fit.
I agree that it felt like a shake up might be necessary but when it was clear Leo would leave they should've kept Derke
It was never clear that Leo would leave though? Literally Mini said he was the best player he had ever seen when it came to everything. So did basically every other player/coach. You would never want to release that talent to another team. Plus if you were to make a change that wouldn't harm the team too much, it would be the duelist role. There was a clear issue in FNC. I personally feel like it was the HC, not Derke. But, I am happy that we got Kaajak, I think Kaajak is a better aimer than Derke, but not a better duelist atm. Also, getting rid of Alfajer would just be throwing, its the same argument for keeping Leo. Derke was just the least risky option. Elmapuddy was just not the right HC. FNC kept him for far too long.
A lot of evaluations of Derke will age really badly next year. He was a demon in bangkok and will only be better now that he gets a real team
i mean they already did no? everyone was calling FNC stupid for letting him go for a rookie. he was frying in kickoff. and Kaajak was having a hard time adjusting.
I would be surprised if he left Boaster. He is far too great of an asset for anybody. But who knows. Crazy things happen sometimes.
This is his first contract end since joining FNC and achieving Goat status. Maybe someone makes a ludicrous offer financially. Now is the best time for him to get the bag and actually cash out on his resumee. He is currently paid for his 2022 self
FNC Chronicle: "The love for my teammates is something that I can't even explain. Right now, I believe we are at our peak not just as teammates, but also as friends. Every other team should be scared of us. Fnatic will never stop." Highly doubt it.
when was this? just asking for more context, i understand he loves fnc environment

He's not gonna leave. The only one that is likely to leave is Crashies due to contract expiring, and I don't know how to explain it, but I just feel like Crashies felt bad for the boys after 3 Grand Final losses. He might blame himself after that loss and take a step back from the roster, maybe as a sub, or finding opportunities elsewhere
I dont think he would blame himself/or at least he shouldn't. He done his job, and exceeded the expectations that people set for him. might have not had the best stats in every game, but quite clearly his mid rounding, and just style of play fit FNC well enough to help them get to 3 international grand finals in a row. Would prefer if he stayed to see if they could get a international together, but would understand if he wanted to go back to Americas.
Liquid is in shambles if Keiko leaves. They could have a rough offseason in that case
