What is everyone’s thoughts on BuZz this year now that the year has concluded?

Very overhated, but this has been one of his worse years outside of Bangkok/stage1

Yeah, his performance this year has been pretty poor compared to previous years unfortunately. He has a couple very good games, but the majority weren’t anything crazy.

one of the most underrated duelists

After everything he’s accomplished, regionally and internationally, I wouldn’t consider him underrated. But as of now he is definitely being overshadowed by the likes of t3xture and Hyunmin.

Yeah. At this point maybe both hyunmin and flashback have surpassed buzz and texture was always the best Korean duelist at least since the start of 2024. Buzz is really good but it feels like he has always been missing that piece that would make him one of the best duelists in the world. He has always gatekept that top 10 duelist list but he hardly ever broke his the top 10 consistently. As much as I don't like him anymore, I can appreciate his skill as a duelist.

Buzz is less consistent than t3xture and has a lower ceiling than hyunmin, but I still think he is a solid A tier duelist player. He has had a year fulll of ups and downs but I think he would be an upgrade for a lot of vct teams regardless.

He was so impactful during Bangkok. I wish I could rewatch their run for the first time again.

I'm sure all the backlash, and hate that he was/is still receiving from Korean & International fans didn't help his mental.

He’s a Korean legend, even though he has been poorly viewed by a lot of people

Yeah, it's sad how he's being perceived by the public at the moment. Back in the off-season, a DRX executive said their highest priority was to re-sign BuZz. So I don't truly believe that he's a bad person, just a product of a poor team environment.

I think that Buzz is still good and is a champs level duelist. He isn’t an aspas level player but he’s a solid champs player that any KR teams would want. I think his agent pool isnt bad and his mechanics are good. I just think he’s had a small downfall at an unlucky time (after the documentary). I still think he can perform good though if we make a few adjustments and change the environment around him.

I think he's ok but he gets a lot of hate for the t1 doc stuff and being a bit ass in champs. He has a good peak since I think he can bounce back.
