i dont really see the point in picking drivers from completley different generations of formula 1 and calling them the goats. Senna's era was so much harder to control cars because of stuff like power steering and an automatic transmission being non-existent. Schumacher's era had wayyy smaller cars that were easier to control than the absolute dump trucks that are the curent gen f1 cars. comaprison of the goat should be done in terms of their respective eras :)

there is no goat of F1 though. Every era was vastly different and it's basically a different sport every regulation. Lewis was the best in the first hybrid era, then it was max. Before that it was vettel and before that was schumacher. There are different legends in every regulation. The best argument only really has some credence when it comes to max cause sometimes it feels like he can drive anything to its limits not just formula 1. If he goes to win Le mans or some other motorsport then he's easily one of the best racers of all time just off of raw ability.

the only drivers that have had long success in different regulations are verstappen, hamilton, fernando alonso, ayrton senna, alain prost and niki lauda (verstappen would be quite a bit of reach based on longevity as he has only been in the sport for 10 years but even when he was rookie in 2017-2020 regs he showed great performances)
besides these names no other driver has had such long successful careers and should not be considered
