say what u want but everyone in the scene misses lock in and i as a viewers aswell, the format was amazing and if it wouldnt be so sudden teams would prep'd more and it would def be on par if not better than masters
You're blinded by the grand finals of lock in which was one of if not the greatest we've ever seen. The rest of the event was mediocre.
No elimination bracket flattens the playing field and blands the games, no story lines, no crazy runs and lesser depth. Calling that format better than the ones present at masters is laughable at best.
This team disappoints so much 😔 legit their attack is not great but at least get rounds on defense bruh

Ewc had the best teams in the world attend the skill difference is no different than other T1 tournaments and it has a disgusting prize pool.

TH losing at champs means nothing about EWC this game is about form if you hit the right form at the right time you can win anything MIBR were awful in groups and then with the time off managed to find their form again. T1 hit their form and then dropped straight off and did nothing it isn't uncommon.

I can only agree that the level wasn't that high cause it was in between just finishing playoffs and champs but the prize pool is no joke and every team propably tryharded. It's just that they had less time to prep but that could also technically mean that this tournament overally judges how well a team does without prep which one could argue is a skill level of itself. Anyway calling it a mickey is just braindead i'd put it on par with (most)masters

People have so many opinions about this event moral wise and ethics wise of course people will down grade it because of their personal beliefs the point is EWC is not a mickey mouse regardless of opinion.
