"trashtalk" ts is like ranked all chat ragebait and people are losing their minds
Everyone is so fking biased and just jumping on the bandwagon hate. First they call G2 boring then criticise when they try to be fun at stage. Fnatic literally does the same thing wait till eternity to enter the site and create vibes on stage.
i dont hate g2 . they are a good team but their trashtalk is so bland and feels so forced
I'll tell y'all a secret, no one gives a shit about 12-year-olds soft fragile emotions and adults with arrested development crying on twitter, reddit, and discord because players do mean things during passionate and heated competition. Gang its just banter, so many other teams do it but when G2 does it suddenly such a big issue. TH players scream at the other players every round, Alfa ragebaits after he dies, Z0lls0s legit stands up and starts screaming for being a useless sack of shit BUT NOOOOO WHEN VALYN DOES IT, ITS SUCH A BIG PROBLEM
That's not exactly what they are being criticized for. You make it as if people are mad about them trashtalking when these people are saying that G2's trash talk is as boring as their playstyle

I think that, at this point, the trashtalk is not to get in the opponent's head, it's more to improve your own team's mental. If you trashtalk, it makes you feel better/more confident, improves aim. Most of the time, even if it's good trashtalk, the enemy can't even hear you/does not care what you say (if they don't just tune you out). As long as you do something they can see and can't ignore (ex. stand up), you can get into their head and boost your own mental.
