Kaust's Personal VCT CN Speculation

Hello all. I'm just going to drop my thoughts on the Chinese teams in terms of their starting lineups and give my two cents on who I think should probably stay and who I think could probably go.

All Gamers: Looked half decent towards the end of the year. Decent all around, but if I had to say that a player would have to get dropped, it would have to be Hanche. The thing is, with such a deep academy team, anyone could probably just sprout out from the underworld and look decent, while Hanche... While he hasn't been bad per say, he hasn't been too impressive in comparison to the rest of the team.

Bilibili Gaming: It's easy to say that the regional champions should stick with their roster. However, I think that if someone had to get dropped, it'd be one of Levius or Knight. Here, I'd have to give a slight edge to Levius for getting dropped. While Knight can be inconsistent, he has pretty high highs, while Levius can often be uninspiring.

Edward Gaming: This is another roster where I'd say is strong enough to the point where they should once again stick together. However, if I were to cast someone out of the team, it would probably be Jieni7 which is a true shame because I actually rather like him as a player. With that being said, whether or not he should be placed on a team as demanding as EDG is questionable (please drop Muggle thank you).

FunPlus Phoenix: BerLin and Life have both looked extremely shaky with Life especially facing long periods of inconsistency amongst underwhelming performances. I think that eyebrows have to be raised at both of these guys, as well as LEGIJA, their head coach. I think that FPX with someone like Haodong could do well, but this is a "who should be removed" thread, and not a "who should be signed" thread. So yeah, drop one of the two (Probably BerLin) and consider the HC.

Jingdong Gaming: So yeah, no brainer. As long as stew isn't dropped, they're chilling. With that being said, the team, while having looked better recently (albeit in a glorified off-season tournament), Still is upgradeable, and I think that one of jkuro, Babyblue or kklin could be dropped to make space for newer, better talent. My personal shout is that they should stick together for the time being. However, if you were to put a gun to my head, they could drop kklin from the starting lineup and send him to develop in a Tier 2 team, as he is rather young.

Nova Esports: Is kodeth starting? Is Swerl starting? Who knows what this team will really look like in terms of their duelist slot by the beginning of the 25/26 VCT season. That however, is besides the point. Why the FUCK is o0o0o still on this team??? They signed monk, found out he's also trash, and then brought o0o0o back. Drop this guy immediately.

Titan Esports Club: If they were thinking about bringing Luke back to start as duelist again, don't. If they want to play Dynamite instead, do better. Find someone better than these two, please. Besides that, the team is like... Not terrible... Still fodder but like, no one that I find too criminal.

Trace Esports: I just really like FengF and I can't believe what they've done to him. For now, I can only hope that Fkey proves to be decent if they continue playing him, as well as the fact that they should definitely ditch Midi if they have any plans of continuing with him. They could and should be doing so much better, I think I even preferred Xlele over Midi to a degree. Luoking also needs to show some more flashes of inspiration or else he could also be on the chopping block.

Tyloo: If Splash comes in for sword9 (and I hope he does, because the man is literally a head coach) I would easily offer up Yoyo on the chopping block. Not an exceptional or even half decent player, and honestly, with one more good signing, Tyloo could look absolutely class which I cannot be more of a fan of (imagine Shr1mp on this team playing initiator).

Wolves Esports: Honestly, they have time to grow, and I think that they should most definitely stick it out for at least just a bit longer. But once again, that's not what I'm here for. As a result, I would like to offer just about anyone but Spring onto the chopping block. Controversially, I would like to raise questions about Siufatbb's mechanics, whose shooting has been extremely underwhelming in Stage 2. Most people would immediately think about dulling the guillotine blade with Lysoar's neck but personally I think that, while it is totally reasonable, he's actually pretty decent besides super high pressure matches (which, yes, is a problem).

Dragon Ranger Gaming: For reference, Demon1 is not considered here. Now, I love Dragon Ranger Gaming. They're really cool to watch and have insane shooters and I like the team. However, you should know the name of the game by now, and with that being said, the two that could be cut from the roster is Akeman due to his lacking agent pool (I think he can still grow and learn) or Flex1n, who arguably sometime makes a few plays that are too crazy to simply be called aggressive or ambitious.

Xi Lai Gaming: Another team that, in my opinion, arguably shouldn't see anyone get dropped. With that being said, if anyone were to get dropped, I'd nominate coconut (sorry mate, the thread demands it).

I hate to do this to you but I think I might have to run a comb through Wolves although I didn't want to coming into Stage 2 either.

Brilliant! The team has been cleansed. Any idea on who will replace him?

alr showcased three 18/19 year olds so any of them. really depends on what they do to spitfires and deLb atp

I think those two should stay.

if Shr1mp is gonna take over calling then deLb doesn't really provide anything that Leav3u and Curlyhair couldn't tbf. and unless Zhubibi doesn't perform at all like XiYiJi then i'd expect them to keep him over spitfires ngl. this is assuming they limit themselves to just their of-age academy talent btw and don't look elsewhere for other budget options

Neither Leav3u or Curlyhair impressed me all that much, and I don't want calling to potentially limit Shr1mp's aim.

from what i can tell it clearly hasn't affected Shr1mp's fragging at all LOL. that guy still a nuclear threat while midrounding/ Leav3u's unpolished but the mechanical talent's clearly there. Curlyhair's actually the one who wowed me the most his omen util's REALLY good

Yeah his aim is cracked but I don't wanna risk it in big games vs during a friendly tourney. Let's see, dropping deLb could be a plan.

thank you kaust, very cool.
i agree with most of everything, though i do think levius is solidly ahead of knight in terms of getting dropped, he's looked pretty bad recently, and while knight isn't the best, his igling isn't half bad.
i honestly think that dynamite is not half bad for tec, but yeah, they should try to upgrade.

Yeah I gave Levius the edge for dropping and I worded it rather politely because Knight really does have really low lows.

All I want is for Yoyo to work at a chinese mcdonalds.
Scales+Slowly+Splash is an insane core and one more good player would instantly make them contenders for regional domination. Yoyo is just dogshit on top of having a weird ass agent pool.

Also nova please find someone decent to replace oolong, may it even be Robbiebk if there's no one else left lol. This team (and specifically GuanG) has so much potential but it keeps being wasted

Nova can't sign Robbie because they already have Swerl.
I want to see TYL sign someone like lucas or Shr1mp.

I dont see kodeth starting, swerl looked like the better duelist (kodeth was good tho)

i believe so? he does look wasian and probably knows a word or two. But at the same time swerl's chinese is prob the best out of all the imports besides nephh and lucas who are chinese ethnicity wise

Most teams are unlikely to limit themselves to changing just one player

I absolutely agree, but I wanted to create a scenario where if a team had to absolutely drop one player.
