My goat Kaajak diffed Aspas 12 - 7
no? he doesn't play in fnc or mibr or am i wrong?
edit: mb, didn't see the title
if we talk about stage 2 and ahead then he is the best rookie but not for whole year
Patmen is not mechanically close to anybody and in terms of them winning toronto its not like he 1v5ed the enemies
bro really forgot about DiH
(seriously if we're going by OAT it's aspas or demon1 - both won champs and got 2nd at a masters in their rookie years)
Demon1 and it's not even close
1.Got to Grand Finals on Tokyo and EG's best player
All of that and he was a 1 trick Jett
He was literally eg 2nd worst player at tokyo this narrative of him being good in tokyo needs to stop until they played prx he was bad he was carried hard until that then he was their best player in lower finals and grand finals I will give you that
Less is the greatest rookie of all time. the youngest champion and mvp that there ever will be because 17 year olds cant even play vct anymore
he was the (unofficial) champions 2022 MVP. had the highest acs on the winning team but there was no official MVP given
no, he had the highest vlr rating on LOUD but thats not the criteria for the mvp, and once again there was no official mvp given at that point, they started giving mvp bracelets a while after
Yeah, I knew there wasn't an official MVP, but when people mentioned the 2022 Champs MVP I've always heard people say pANcada. but idk lol
Less had better stats in every category except vlr rating, highest acs highest kd highest adr etc on loud, pancada had better KAST
I guess this is why people say pancada
https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/comments/xim9nf/pancada_wins_thespikegg_mvp_award_of_vct_2022/
the pANcada mvp was a spike.gg post, not official
Officially the MVP's of each Champs are:
zeek
aspas
Demon1
Zmjjkk
I know that the MVP awards are for performance throughout the whole tournament, not just the grand final. pANcada was the highest rated player on LOUD throughout the whole tournament. Even if Aspas was the unofficial "official" one because Riot didn't officially name an MVP, I still think it was pANcada.
Well, thats your opinion, just like some people consider CHICHOO the MVP of Champs 24, or Izu as the MVP of Bangkok. But it is official
In Champions 2025, like a few days ago, there was a Riot minigame segment that they made with crashies and Boaster, where they had to name 3 Champions MVP's. crashies said: aspas, Zmjjkk and zeek, and it was the correct answer, so even today its still official by Riot
aspas was the 4th highest rated loud player overall lol
they really used to hand mvps out to anybody
his rating really undersells him in that tournament, if you watched those games, especially the Grand Final, he was extremely impactful for LOUD's win against Optic. He dropped like 3 historical plays in Grand Finals alone but his rating doesnt show that
I think GF performance and impact is the main factor for Riot even today
But that's wrong, as said by multiple of the people who vote for the MVP today. It's about performance throughout the whole tournament, not just the grand final.
Realistically, its demon1 no? Winning champs and mvp rookie year is literally the peak of valorant, and what most most pros can only dream of
why though? you're weighing masters trophy over champ+mvp and 2nd in tokyo
he was insane in a GenG team and somehow managed to standout in a team where there were already two superstars in T3xture and Meteor is impressive + he played smokes which is harder to be a superstar on , its easier to be a superstar if u are on duelist or senti . So ya this is what I think . Ur take is reasonable but I think Karon > Demon1 rookie season .
i respect the agenda push, but i don't think 2023 demon1 will be topped anytime soon.
