if an asian team wins in particular vlr is gonna be flooded with americas and emea hate threads even tho they are basically on the same level as like pacific, and if sen win then all sen fans are just gonna be cancer. I don't mind t1 winning out of all the asian teams tho bc they prob get the most hate out of every team alongside like th and g2 so if they win champs at least it would prove that bangkok wasnt a fluke

Like their run in Bangkok was cool, but they were coming into the tournament as like the 7-8th ranked team
They're coming to Champs as not a trophy contender at all, so if they win AGAIN I'll just not feel amazing about it especially cause I don't really feel too connected to them

i mean atleast they had a storyline for bangkok, defeated all the 1st seeds to get there and shows that expectations don’t meet reality

i see your reasoning for champs but you can say that for like every #3 and #4 seeds

The only other team that I can feel similarly to T1 is EDG (flair)
No it's not really that they beat TH it's that they already got it last year I think it's someone else's turn

As for my logic, well I stand by it, but I also just find T1 appealing enough to me, they're ok but that's it

like if they won itd just feel unsatisfying. other teams have shown some kind of development or characterization (drg, gx, and nrg had a run out of nowhere, g2 and fnc trying to redeem their misses, prx and t1 going for another trophy) but with blg theyre just kinda there

well kinda but tbh they only really won because edg and xlg, the only teams to win china, both got rid of an integral player and fell off. like at least when xlg took edg’s crown after they fell off it looked like xlg really improved especially considering their an ascension team, but with blg it just feels like they didn’t really improve and were just given the win
