Imagine being that broke that you have to loan 1 million from a crypto trader on Twitter.
The banks don't fuck with you that much?
Also, failing to repay the loan and not even paying the agreed interest is insane. L brokie org

I assume it's because they're quite ambitious with other scenes too but fell short, they failed to qualify for TI this year with what I can assume the highest salary in the SEA scene looking at their players' resume and recent performances
oh shii another pacific drama
getting a loan from crypto trader is a crazy work tho when most of them are known for as scammers
yeah how bad is your financial situation if you have to loan money from dudes on twitter π
one reason i can think of why someone getting a loan from crypto trading is they can get money without any collateral
thats just show how desperate someone to get money in a short amount of time
BOOM had sponsorship from crypto/NFT companies a few years back too, I think BLEED's CEO also had some crypto business partners iirc, don't know what's with SEA and crypto
crypto companies can be a form of ponzi scheme or money laundering. when an organization use them as sponsorship it gives them marketing so people can join to invest. and we'll never know if the company have a hidden relations with the owners/investors of the org or legitimately sponsors the org.
literally the easiest way to prove your org have a solid financial background
The thing with BOOM is that the CEO had some personal interest with crypto and NFTs iirc so it's possible he may be the one who reached out first to these companies, and the org is somehow still afloat after that and now without big sponsors unlike other Indo orgs, so I assume he didn't actually need the money and probably has deep pockets and funds almost everything himself
Apparently, he was an investor in Talon and considered Sean (the CEO) a friend.
Hopefully he's just the CEO loaning money for a personal issue, because if he's also the owner TLN might be in trouble
he said the banks in hong kong were closed, thats prob why he loaned the money in the first place
there have to be reasons to get loan from someone as shady as cryptobros.
but the CEO is ready to tackle and finish their deal anyway, good guy CEO then?
idk why this lender didn't reach out to the CEO first if they got problems, instead they are fussing out on social media...
Just that Twitter is a free site to shit on others thatβs why bro tried on it
regardless the business the lender do, biz problems should be resolved with biz procedures.
the problem is that there's no legit "biz problem" when you borrow money from a cryptobros.. From the tweet i see on X, Talon CEO Sean and this random cryptobros are friends IRL..
So maybe its just like your typical rich friend lending money to your bros without any loan agreement or any binding contract.. Now you might ask "but its a million dollar, thats alot of money so there should be some loan agreement right!?". This is only my opinion but rich people usually have a skewed views on money, this cryptobros somehow decline the 75k dollar interest out of spite.
This drama smells super shady money laundering scheme because if you're a legit business with legit company/orgs, you usually got money from a reputable bank or individuals and not some shady cryptobros.
fraud org bro imagine dodging someone that loaned you 1m for months and when you finally pay them back you dont even pay the interest owed π
PSG needs to save them ππ
psg are partnered with talon for their r6 and league team so the teams are called PSG Talon
talon also got a partnership with flipster which is crypto shit and their dota team is called flipster talon
this is the ceo of talon esports, nothing to do with the team.
dont hate the team.
considering that the CEO says that "The Boss" is transferring the money, I assume this has to do something with the operations of Talon as the organization
How many Sean's got allegations? Sean the CEO, Sean Gares and Sean Combs. Cursed name π
If Talon broke, just move the the players and coach to MiTH and become a new franchise team
I think full sense? I known it for most win even tho they dont make it ti t1
bacon, but their organization has been taken over by SG (AmpVerse). full sense might be the right answer for now
or bring in a t2 emea team like fokus or mouz with actual following to field a thai roster kinda like what ts did
You donβt have the best track record with relaying twitter drama so Iβm gonna wait for something official before trusting a dude with a sonic pfp
hedgeh0g is a crypto guy, most likely involved in scamming. also looking at how his behaviour has been in public and online, i can imagine he's not someone u wanna be friends with. but our "nice guy sean" was desperate and asked his "friend hedgeh0g" for money since banks were closed in hongkong. there was no legal contract so i don't think interest and other things would be mentioned. sean paid him back late since he thought his "friend" would be as nice as him but he wasn't and well afaik sean can sue him for defamation if hedgeh0g sues him for interest. both fcked themselves over
