So how come AMER is the only region where upsets don’t happen and the top 2 teams are always leagues above others? You have BBL (A-tier) beating FNC (best team itw) or KC beating TL. For APAC, you have RRQ/Talon slaying Koreans and Zeta having a century game against PRX. China is a hotchpotch of mid teams that just duke it out. AMER is legit just ‘who can lose to SEN/Shart2 the least’

FNC vs BBL is a trash vs garbage match
The reason there's upsets is because they play coinflip garbage Valorant in the minor regions like EMEA

no depth of talent in AMER, basically.
Besides SEN/G2, Everyone good in NA gets poached and ruined by NRG staff before anyone else gets them, meanwhile SA has had one good igl in it's history and even he's left to EMEA where he was faltering without a Sacy-level midrounding goat, and also has to contend with regular visa issues even just for group stage, neutering the prac level of the region overall.
G2 are one of the best teams in the world and are very controlled so they consistently perform, SEN are an S or A tier team playing against C9 who are B-tier normally but played horribly, the other 3 teams they played were straight cheeks. 100t losing to G2 is expected since 100t are ass. Also the other group was basically all 50/50 games so no win would've been considered an upset.
C9 has Immi for a coach who has shown no results in 3 years, 100T has ziks who is in the same league, Potter cannot get a decent roster since champs 2023, Loud has way too many problems, Lev is in rebuilding stage, Kru nowadays seem like keznit tilt = loss, sen cannot win a final in americas forget any international trophies. How are americas suppose to do well internationally.
