Ngl I was kinda hatewatching EDG when I saw some games where they played so bad but somehow managing to get into playoffs and champs...now kk is on Yoru and he doesn't look that good, but somehow jieni7 is making up for that by frying on movement duelist...

they needed some time to develop synergy also jieni was a duelist, so forcing him on other roles in his first stint in t1 was not doing him justice

Yeah but it wasnt as much forcing as much as Jieni was adamant on learning whatever the team needed, even if he didn't do well immediately it looks like playing at that t1 level helped him improve a lot

I DONT KNOW MAN LIKE I WOULD WANT EDG TO PLAY AGAINST INTERNATIONAL TEAMS AND SEE JIENI7 PERFORMANCE, CAUSE THIS IS CHINA

even in a very bad state edg can hold up against low-mid A tier teams internationally, its the high A and S tier teams they have to worry about. But then again players like Chichoo and Kangkang step up on internationals a lot

Not for any other team in champs . Already beat sen g2 th prx,

kk needs to improve his yoru in time for champs, jieni7 can just run in take space and get traded

He is doing good on duelist. Edg was wasting him on support role.

Doing his job on dive duelist. Teammates can trade

He still plays support roles on some maps and he's been just as good, his util is also smart and well timed.

You can actually see his confidence growing from game to game too

Yeah I can't imagine what it might feel like to be a new rookie 5th on EDG and all this fan pressure "kick him bring S1mon back" as if thats gonna solve anything

It's always "what they did to hfmi", brother they signed him and gave him a chance and he did not do well both aim or util wise on the breach/kayo whereas jieni is

they had more prac with jieni, and jieni's performance is better. He is more flexible and they've probably had more success with him in scrims

Sounds like you saw the same thing I did watching zjc vs Jieni. Jieni util usage was arguably better and he’s mechanically way better than zjc, so I liked the change back

Yes it's just biased tyloo fans or fans of his name

It's really sad because zjc used to be one of the best shooters in the region. The falloff has been devastating

The most hilarious thing out of this is that Tyloo has arguably IMPROVED since hfmi left.

Mechanically no where near Jieni and util wise has been almost about the same

It's lower bracket EDG, it's impossible for them to lose
