I genuinely don’t understand the hate that zellsis gets. I’m not saying he’s on the level of Less or the greatest sentis, but people talk about him like he isn’t a trophy winner. He constantly goes above and beyond and is often the player who gets SEN going when they have a lackluster start.

If someone asks are there e better player or better sentinel than Zellsis then yes there are many .... but people forget Val is a game where having the right mind is really important for pro Val player and Zellsis helps the team to stay confident and be the hypeman while being a decent player.
Also I think some stupid and childish people hate him cuz of his k/d and being the worst player among the 5 Sentinels players
Exactly, I’m not trying to put him in GOAT conversations. He’s just an amazing teammate and underrated aimer.
Zellsis may be a great teammate but NOBODY is underrating his aim. His aim is lwk mid asf and we all know it.

Nah, not a response to you, more so people trying to put unproven sentis above him in rankings. Like Cortez is a better aimer and has far more potential. But winning and experience matters and zellsis has both.
yea abt that. cortezia is better mechanically but i'd say zellsis is better at teamplay. cortezia gets caught a lot during lurks. tho it'll be seen later bc he's not been here for long.

But c9 royally fucked over yay. I don’t necessarily hold it over them but mce had a part to play in that and it is a business at the end of the day. Zellsis made a good business decision and c9 has made plenty of awful business decisions in VCT
If Yay was able to play agents that weren’t Chamber, he would’ve stayed on the team.
He’s decent now, but people forget he was literally bottom fragging in ascension games for a while. C9 kicking yay was the correct decision
What wasn’t a correct decision, was halting mCE’s playee trials, handing the reigns to Zellsis to build his own team (and pick his own coach), meanwhile Zellsis built the worst C9 team of all time and left to be a 6th man for Sentinels
He was supposed to be the IGL, then he went to Sentinels so they signed Vanity
Nah yay at the time was playing better than net is currently playing but they didn’t give him the time to adapt. And as for the ascension team, you honestly have to take it with a grain of salt and his teammates weren’t amazing. You also can’t hate zellsis for c9 making the bad decision to let him be the gm. Player picked teams never work well because there’s an inherent bias (look at the FNS NRG roster). Saying you don’t fuck with zellsis because he fucked over mce while also supporting c9’s terrible decisions is a little bit obtuse mate.
Yay at the time was a liability, they were forced to play chamber and immediately performed better without him.
I can understand that C9 made a bad decision letting Zellsis play GM, and still be mad at Zellsis for making a dogshit roster and then abandoning it to be a 6th man before a single game is played.

Yay played 1 agent and was on an extremely high contract. His agent then got nerfed making him ineffective. The market at the time was also unforgiving for orgs income-wise.
Kicking yay was not “snaking” him, it’s the decision any org would’ve made.
Zellsis kicking his coach to build his own team just to immediately leave for another org where he was a 6th man is absolute snake behavior.
Most of the Zellsis hate isn't because he is shit it's because of his personality. Just like Boostio (before he started playing like shit as well). I love Zellsis as a streamer. But some people find his loud personality arrogant., because while he did win with Sen, he wasn't irreplaceable like Zekken, JohnQT or Tenz.
Take Shazam for example, he literally made Sentinels. But bitchboy fans of match fixers hate him and other people don't like him because he complains and maybe his voice is annoying. But still, I doubt most of the Sen fans even acknowledge what he did for Sen. He was Coach, IGL, Player all in one and put Sen on top but still he was slowly thrown out. One of the main reasons I hate Sen and their fans.
shahzam deserves a way bigger career for what hes done for val, he was one of the streamers who fell off hardest after the pandemic
also annoying how most zellsis supporters see him ONLY as a hypeman - he's a smart player and has great setups on viper/vyse
Oh Zellsis is cunningly smart. The perfect Rat player. One of the reasons I hate seeing him play professionally.
Zellsis is a really smart player even though his aim may not be magnificent. He is a huge reason why SEN is successful, even with TenZ and Sacy and now without them too. Also even in C9 Zellsis and Leaf were the best, really good teammate and leader and a good enough sentinel/flex player to win a Master's trophy.
