Franchising is terrible for south americas, it's almost impossible to make changes and bring local players because of the visas, so teams tend to keep the same players even when there's so much young talent in latam/brazil who could be a lot better. But at the same time, players from tier 2 in SA also have it rough to get better cause they can't practice against franchised teams :/
