why are so many pros switching to the phantom, is it really that much better?

the buff was a while ago, but they reduced the damage fall off, so now it’s 156/39 dmg from 20m or less instead of 15m or less, and it will now 140/35 dmg from every other range instead of dropping to 124/31 dmg after 30m
the only disadvantage i think it has is 140 headshot in long range, otherwise its a better gun cuz of its spray control, no tracers
you will find a lot of games where some rounds got determined by smoke kills, if you are spraying with vandal opponents can follow the tracers and shoot back
yeah but bursting and strafing is more important to me and I hate doing that with the phantom. The gun just doesn't reset fast enough for me being a vandal player for the longest time
Ability to one tap at range and also comfort from 1000’s of hours of grinding ranked
if scream came back to valorant he would single-handedly revive the vandal economy
or the guardian
spamming smokes for damage is op and most of the fights are close range now so no point in a vandal
spam smokes no traces and a lot of fights are close range in the maps i feel no?
