Is EWC considered a top tier event

Didn’t get to watch it live but judging by the teams that participated, it should probably be considered on the same level as a masters/champs right?

Ewc is the most valuable off season type event you can win but it doesn’t come close to any official riot event. Shitty format on last patch so no incentive for teams to use it for even future prep multiple subs at the event straight after a masters and before many teams last shot ar a champs place it’s like soop on crack but no where close to even lock in. Shouldn’t affect any players legacies or anything like that

any event that is out of vct will not be "top tier", but it probably is the most valuable 3rd party tourney there is.

In terms of team and game quality i would even argue its better than the 1st masters of every year, in terms of everything else its not as good as regular masters

production-wise nah. money-wise yes.

lock in-ish it is in season but on the last patch it had bad production but a in season trophy is nice to have it has a big prize pool but lock in's format with a consolation final which is slightly better its a regional+ under lock in above regional success
