Didn't expect this "masters event" viewership to be this low. Like not even reaching apac and Americas peak viewership is crazy. Considering the game was between fnc and prx didn't expect the viewership to be this low.
It will reach decent enough numbers for finals maybe.
The only thing associated with this tourney is the insane amount of money and nothing else; they are trying to create a very fake hype surrounding it but are failing; this is exactly similar to Saudi Pro League. They captured all the attention by first signing CR7 and then splashed cash, but with time seems like their hype is dying away.
two reasons
1: most of the val community actually is concerned about the saudi sportswashing and are boycotting the event (whereas in CS i dont think ppl care as much)
2: OH MY FUCKING GOD RIOT PLEASE REVOKE THE PARTNERSHIP IF THE PRODUCTION WILL CONTINUE TO BE THIS BAD THERES MORE TECHPAUSES THAN IN VCT EMEA AND 2024 PACIFIC KICKOFF COMBINED HOLY FUCK. like seriously, the SEMIFINAL MATCH THAT WILL BE PLAYED ON STAGE IN FRONT OF A CROWD is DELAYED
