Can't be called the goat if you've never been the best. It's a mixture of both and the game is too young to have one who acomplishes both.
I’ll always value consistency more since I feel like valorant is super flukey. We see teams and players rise and fall all the time. With constantly changing map pool and meta and new agents, you need to be so good that you’re able to be consistent even despite this.

Thats why I think this site underrates tenz. He not only had that 1 dominant year, but he also came back and had another impressive year in 2024, proving that 2021 wasn't just a fluke.
He's definitely not a goat candidate, but i think it's ignorant to not put him in a top 10.

I would say 3 years of consistency should be placed higher than 1 year of being the best bc being great over 3 years proves that your skill isn't dependent on a single meta or team comp and it shows that you can adapt and still dominate at a high level no matter what team your on or how the game changes which proves that you are individually skilled and not a system player.
