But the point is the position of simon is embarassing.
As u see in toronto, there are very few flash initiators in the comps in toronto. What they need most is a flexible player like forsaken.
So they sign jieni, they sign hfmi0dzjc9z7, cuz they can sacrifice for the whole team to play what edg wants them to play.
Simon? I cannot deny that he did hard work for it. But how dare the team let simon play yoru on the stage, since he only got 200 average ACS in Asian server's ranking while playing yoru. For the same hours, kangkang 's yoru plays like shit on the stage but at least, he got 234 acs in asian server's ranking. That's the point of basic mechanics, therefore no need to have a discussion on simon's yoru, as well as deadlock or other flexible characters.
but but but, what kicked him out is, he is a toxic guy as every roster on team blame him upon this.
i dont know why every influencer in western says"he should be benched", then after 2 months so many ppl have question on it

I mean you cannot make a super flexible player like forsaken but you can develop a player like chron who will do you job well and also you are forgetting ranked stats don’t matter when you are a pro even average 200 acs is enough to pull out a win when all of them are stepping up so the impact matter not stats

there's still a chance for edg
t1 as long as they fix their management, they got some serious talents in their academy

  • EDG didn't qual Toronto cause had to deal with breach yoru tejo meta, on different meta and solid 5th player I can see EDG peak again.
  • For T1, DH has only performed well on Challengers (Tier 2), need to see him perform on VCT level + international. If he can't adapt to Tier 1 ecosystem getting Mako/Karon would be needed to make that KR superteam and challenge for internationals once again.
  • TH have the EMEA IGL can't aim problem with Boo/Boaster/Ange1. In this present day of valorant all 5 players need to be able to aim to win internationals (JohnQT/Munchkin/Nobody/Stax?/f0rsakeN). Boo OUT is needed to make the 1st step, boaster's IGLing can only take FNC so much in 2025.

EDG is actively trying to fix their problem. T1 and TH either don't see the problem or are actively ignoring it.
