BLG looked awful. They only won against a team without their IGL.

Wolves and PRX who have made it to the upper finals, 1 of which is guaranteed to be in the grand finals both went against Heretics and they took them to 3 close maps. (Pearl was just a terrible map veto, EMEA as a whole can't play that map).

Guaranteed Heretics would've been in playoffs if they got BLG.

no they were still ass (even as a th fan), they werent just getting outvaloranted they looked terrible during it (cant say for their game vs wol bc i couldnt watch it), this is slightly overcoping

vs PRX icebox 13-9 lost both pistols very close.

vs WOL Pearl 13-10 lost both pistols very close.
and Lotus 13-9 started 0-6 still pretty close.

Heretics were missing a lot of duals, were messing up strats and clearly had a mental block after losing to FNC. But I don't think they are as bad as everyone made it out to be now we know how good PRX and WOL are.

this is revisionism Wolves was not playing anywhere near as well as they are now. Lotus was especially bad considering Lysoar was playing terribly (died to viper molly on exec, body blocked teammate into another viper molly), Juicy had shit timings on floods/execs (particularly with satchels and rozas), and SiuFat pi'd and finished with 5 kills. THAT version of Wolves still 2-0d Heretics. Not to mention the fact that if you're losing duels AND messing up strats clearly you don't deserve to win anyways, that's practically what the entire game is based on anyways

Nah TH were shit in Toronto. Even as a TH fan, I have to accept that. They can still win champs. Loud did that despite losing groups in Masters 2022. The one before Champs.

Love Heretics, but they could've lost to anyone this tournament. They just weren't there, especially the two brothers, who are arguably the guys that need to have their head in the game the most.
