in terms of h2h, john got 1 win over valyn in tier 2, then valyn got him twice in ascension. moving to t1 sen has lost to g2 4 times before this win, i do agree these guys are very close to each other in mechanics and igl'ing but to say john clears valyn is just disingenuous

in terms of raw aim though, you do have to give it to valyn. i would say that the attack side callings are both incredible and that johnqt has a bit of an edge when it comes to defence. so i think they would be about even, not including like trophies and stuff.
Higher peak, but overall G2 has been more consistently better than Sen since JohnQT has joined them

Sure, but it's better to look at a teams overall performance when you wanna judge an individuals impact to a team's success. Many people's argument for JohnQT > Valyn is that JohnQT got 1 trophy, but I'm saying that just looking at purely trophies instead of overall standings in each tournament is extremely stupid and discredits the several other times G2 has seen success. G2 has gotten so many high placings with Valyn as a crucial piece that it's actually crazy. For the majority of their careers Valyn > JohnQT, but rn I would place them to be equal.
what do you mean equal ? JONQT is top 5 this group stage while IGLing, Valyn is damn good but its proven that JOHNQT 's consistency is more solid fam
i don't know about consistency, but yeah this is JohnQT's best split by far damn. I would say he's actually the most impactful player on Sen rn. Rn Johnqt > Valyn I agree.

John got M80 to a final then he left for SEN and won a trophy within 6 months. Ever since he joined, SEN has never missed an event except for Shanghai.
Put John on g2 and he will win them a trophy.
v0lyn has been with the same dudes and havent won a single international. Put him on SEN or another team and see how much of a fraud he is. He just relies on trent and jawg.
